International Event Rider, Leonard Goerens offers a wealth of experience to potential owners, sponsors and those looking to enjoy the sport of Eventing.

He has attained considerable success throughout his career and earned an excellent reputation for sourcing and producing young horses, many of whom have gone on to compete at high level within the sport with Junior and Young Riders.

Flying Machine, the fantastic young horse Leonard produced from 4yr-old to Intermediate was sold as potential for 2012, Leonard winning the British Breeding Championship on the way. This horse has continued to prove his potential by winning the young horse 3* at Blenheim with Piggy French.

Skylight, a horse Leonard produced from 4 yr-old to advanced, has since represented Great Britain on the Gold medal winning European Young Rider squad with Georgie Spence.

Leonard’s classy up and coming grey, Time Machine, began his eventing career at the end of last season, winning two BE90 classes in succession in the Autumn and his first BE100 at Somerley Park this spring. Leonard rates this horse as a serious future prospect.

Leonard enjoyed early success representing France as a Junior and Young Rider Gold medal winning team member, later going on to compete at Pau, Blenheim and other prestigious international events and earning a place on the long list for the Sydney Olympics. More recently, he was placed at Hartpury*** on Silver Machine.

Leonard is a prolific competitor on the circuit, with up-and-coming horses at many of the major fixtures throughout the season.

Based in Crudwell, Wiltshire, his yard is situated close to Badminton and Gatcombe, and is within easy travelling distance of many British Eventing fixtures, thus allowing choice and accessibility for owners.
