Goerens Event Team are pleased to introduce some of the past year's success stories and those that will go on to compete this coming season. These include some really exciting young horses for the future.
Leonard also takes horses on shorter term competition livery with a view to producing them for sale, or to give a sound start to their education for owners wishing to compete themselves. Syndicate opportunities may be available – please contact Leonard to discuss your interests.

Brechfa Brynach
(stallion)
16hh 7 yr-old Stallion by Ramexico.
He began eventing in 2008 with Leonard, with several excellent
placings at BE100. In 2009, he progressed to Novice, qualified for
the 6 yr-old final at Tweseldown, and ended the season placed
in the 1* at Aldon.

Captain Bertie – ‘Bertie’
- FOR SALE
16hh 9 yr-old Grey Gelding by Captain Clover.
Owned by Mrs Gill Reindl.
Bertie had an excellent season with several good Novice results including 3rd Shipton Moyne, 4th Goring Heath, 2nd Pontispool IN and finishing the season with a clear run at Weston Park 1*.

by Concerto.
Owned and bred by Mr & Mrs Robert Puddick.
A future star! Cornetto won the Burghley Young Event Horse
qualifier at Barbury Castle on her debut outing and her first BE 90 at West Wilts,
subsequently coming 3rd in the 4yr-old final
at Tweseldown.
Vodka Ice - 'Pinky'
16.1hh 7 yr-old grey gelding
Owned and bred by Robert and Mel Puddick
A previous Burghley Young Event horse finalist, competed to novice level last year with Chris King.
Leonard takes over the ride on this horse this season.
Time Machine – ‘Mac’

Owned by Leonard Goerens.
Produced slowly last year and allowed to grow and mature, Mac won
Broadway and Berkshire College BE90 in the Autumn. A real class
prospect for the future.

Brookfield Hero - SOLD
16.2 hh 8 yr-old Bay Gelding by Cult Hero.
Leonard took over this ride from Daisy Dick early
in the 2009 season, gaining many good Novice places, winning the IN
at Pontispool and successfully completing Hartpury CCI* in August.
Hero has since been sold to a young rider.

Owned by Mrs Gillian Shoesmith and Emma Shoesmith.
