About Documents in PDF Format  

We use Adobe's PDF (Portable Document Format) because, as the name implies, PDF is truly portable, working equally well on PCs, Macs, Unix workstations, etc.

To view and print PDFs, you need the FREE Adobe PDF viewer, which you can download from
Adobe's official download page.

When you see a link to a PDF document on our site, you can do either two things:

1. View it now.
   Just click on the link. The PDF will open in a new window or tab, then you can 'Save a Copy', 'Print' or just close the window. Internet Explorer may ask if you want to open or save the file: if you choose 'Save', it is the same as option 2 below.
   Note: The website page you were viewing remains available throughout.
2. Save it for viewing later.
   To save the document directly to your hard disk:
   * Right-click on the link...
   * Select 'Save target as...' (Internet Explorer) or 'Save link as...' (Firefox), or some similar phrase...
   * Choose a location on your computer, edit the file name if you wish, then click OK.
